Face of the Day: 4th of July

Here's a quick, super easy Face of the Day inspired by Independence Day colors -- red, white and blue! Below, I've listed the products with very quick instructions in case you'd like to wear this look yourself, and included some pictures. The colors are still slightly washed out by the flash, but at least it's more accurate than my webcam allowed on my video. :)

Products used:

  1. Coastal Scents Camo Quad - use the white concealer as a shadow base to make colors really pop; also, apply to waterline and tightline
  2. Coastal Scents 88 Color Palette - apply matte red to lid; apply to middle third of lower lash line
  3. Sally Girl 99 Cent Eye Shadow (Champagne) - apply as a highlight to brownbone, tear duct area and inner third of lower lash line
  4. BH Cosmetics 88 Color Palette - apply shimmery blues to crease and blend upward toward highlight; apply to outer third of lower lash line
  5. Coastal Scents 88 Color Palette - apply matte black to outer V and smoke out (optional for a nighttime-appropriate smokey look)
  6. ELF Waterproof Eyeliner (Black) - apply thick liner to upper lash line; make it thicker near outer corner of eye and taper off near inner eye
  7. Revlon Fabulash Waterproof Mascara (Black) - apply generously to curled upper lashes (I used three coats for super dramatic lashes)
  8. Rimmel Glam Eyes Lash Flirt Mascara (Kohl Black) - apply to lower lashes
  9. ELF Natural Radiance Blusher (Flushed) - apply to cheekbones as a blush/contour in one; avoid apples of cheeks, as this will compete with the bright eye shadow
  10. ELF Studio Line Blush (Gotta Glow) - dust lightly onto tops of cheekbones as a highlight (I used a fan brush for light application)
  11. MAC Paint Pot (Painterly) - apply to well-moisturized lips to "erase" natural lip color (or use a concealer)
  12. Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick (Spotlight Beige) - apply this or any nude, cream-finish lipstick
  13. Rimmel Royal Gloss (Twinkle Pink) - apply this or any very sheer lipgloss for extra shine but minimal color
Enjoy!
